I always thought that the Body Shop was a good place to go for beauty products and the products have always been relatively cheap. I recently went in looking for a product to help with oily skin because after I have been wearing a full face of make up my skin does tend to feel oily and gross, so I wanted something to give it a deep clean. I asked the shop assistant and she recommended me this.  OH MY GOD. I genuinely couldn’t believe what this product did to my skin! It made it feel tight and looked shiny as fuck. It felt burnt and extremely irritated and I was in so much pain before I went to bed. I had a look in the ingredients on the back and saw that it contained Alcohol Denat, and with a bit of Googling I found that this shit is not good for you what so ever! Alcohol Denat causes your skin to become dry and irritated and is so harsh that even my oily skin cannot cope with it! I was always under the impression that the body shop stood for using more natural ingredients and alternatives, but instead the majority of their products still contain a lot of alcohol and other harsh chemicals. I would definitely avoid this product, in fact avoid the Body Shop full stop. I got royally ripped off with this one! Rating: ☺
